Today marks the 1st day of Women’s History Month. At Euro-Wall we celebrate the women past and present who have impacted our lives personally and professionally. We encourage others to share their own stories of women who have influenced their lives in a positive manner. Our contribution to this conversation focuses on Norma Merrick Sklarek, a pioneer in the architectural community. Norma was the first African American woman licensed as an architect in the United States at a time when racial and gender discrimination prevented countless from achieving their dreams. Norma has left an indelible mark on the architectural community and beyond. We salute Norma Merrick Sklarek and the countless other strong women like her! You can read more about Norma
